What we use to run the service
This page lists the information used for SuperGuardVPN accounts, billing, server operations, and support.
Account and team information
Clerk provides sign-in. We manage team membership and server access. We use the account information needed to identify your account and the team information needed to apply those access rules.
Payment information
Stripe processes payments and subscriptions. We use payment and subscription identifiers and status to confirm service, renewals, cancellations, and data transfer charges. SuperGuardVPN does not store raw card details.
Connection and server information
A connection configuration contains a private key that is generated and kept in your browser for the setup session. The private key is not sent to SuperGuardVPN. The service uses the public connection information needed to operate access, along with server operational health and data transfer usage counters. Google Cloud hosts the server infrastructure and can process the server data needed to provide that hosting.
Support requests
If you contact support, we use the information in your request and the account details needed to answer it, investigate the reported service issue, and provide help.
Why we use this information
We use this information to sign you in, manage teams and server access, process and confirm payments, operate and measure your server, calculate data transfer usage, and respond to support requests. We keep the billing and support records needed to manage the service and answer requests.
Provider information
The providers that support these functions publish their own privacy information: Clerk Privacy Policy, Stripe Privacy Center, and Google Cloud Privacy Resource Center.
