Connect with WireGuard.

Install the official WireGuard app, import your connection, and turn the tunnel on. Use the guide for your device below.

Windows

Windows 10 and 11
Download the Windows installer
  1. 1Install the official WireGuard app.
  2. 2Open WireGuard and choose Import tunnel(s) from file.
  3. 3Select the configuration file you saved from SuperGuardVPN, then choose Activate.

macOS

  1. 1Install the official WireGuard app from the App Store.
  2. 2Open WireGuard and choose Import tunnel(s) from file.
  3. 3Select the configuration file you saved from SuperGuardVPN, then switch the tunnel on.

Linux

  1. 1Install wireguard-tools using the package instructions for your distribution.
  2. 2Save the configuration file from SuperGuardVPN as ~/Downloads/superguard.conf. Use the real path to your file; do not type an angle-bracket placeholder.
  3. 3Set private file permissions, then bring the tunnel up and down with wg-quick:chmod 600 ~/Downloads/superguard.confsudo wg-quick up ~/Downloads/superguard.confsudo wg-quick down ~/Downloads/superguard.conf

iOS

iPhone and iPad

  1. 1Install the official WireGuard app.
  2. 2Show the connection QR code on another screen, then open Scan QR code in WireGuard on your iPhone or iPad and scan it.
  3. 3If the QR code is on the same device, save the configuration file instead and use Import from file or archive in WireGuard.
  4. 4Name the tunnel if asked, allow the VPN connection, and switch it on.

Android

  1. 1Install the official WireGuard app.
  2. 2Show the connection QR code on another screen, then open WireGuard on your Android device, tap the add button, choose Scan from QR code, and scan it.
  3. 3If the QR code is on the same device, save the configuration file instead and choose Import from file or archive in WireGuard.
  4. 4Name the tunnel if asked, allow the VPN connection, and switch it on.

Keep the connection private.

Your file and QR code contain connection secrets. Do not post or send them to anyone.

For a phone, show the QR code on another screen. The QR code is available from the connection screen.

The connection page being ready means setup finished. It does not prove that the tunnel carries traffic.

Check the tunnel

After you turn it on, look for an active tunnel and a recent handshake or data transfer counter in WireGuard. Open a known website or service. If it does not work, turn the tunnel off and on once, then check that you imported the matching file or QR code.
